Psalm 46:10

Day 1 –  Galatians 5:13  (NLT) For you have been called to live in freedom, my brothers and sisters. But don’t use your freedom to satisfy your sinful nature. Instead, use your freedom to serve one another in love. What does it mean to you that you are free to serve? What would be the opposite? Pray that God will lead you to a meaningful way to serve today.

Day 2 –  Colossians 3:23-24  (NLT) Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than people. Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. How can you serve Christ today while working under another, or serving or leading others? Pray that your service this day might be a witness for Christ.

Day 3 – John 12:26  (NLT) Anyone who wants to serve me must follow me, because my servants must be where I am. And the Father will honor anyone who serves me. When you serve Christ, could it be said that you are following Him? When you seek to follow Him could it be said that are you serving Him? Pray for strength to follow Christ in a way that honors Him.

Day 4 –  Romans 12:6-7  (NLT) In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. What is your gift for service? Do you offer it? Does it bring you joy? Pray for joy and fulfillment in your service.  Offer it!

Day 5 –  Luke 12:35  (NLT) Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning,This passage relates to the return of Christ. How can you be ready for that day? Pray for faithfulness in your service.

Day 6 – Genesis 2:2  (NLT) On the seventh day God had finished his work of creation, so he rested from all his work. Can rest be a witness?  Can it be a means of service, or an enhancement of service?Pray for rest that rejuvenates your spirit.
