Sunday Night Youth – New Format! All youth (7th-12th grades) will meet in the barn for supper, free-time and praise and worship beginning at 5:30 p.m. Then, Jessica Stanley and her team will split off with the 7th & 8th grade students and head to the Worship Center while high school students will remain in the barn. Each age group will experience an interactive lesson including activities and discussion tailored to them.
New Wednesday Night Schedule with Small Groups: Student Small Groups will begin Wednesday, September 20 and the start and end times will change to 6:00-7:45 p.m. with small groups from 6:00-6:50 p.m. and Ultimate from 7:00-7:45 p.m.. Students should bring their own fast food to their small group or eat ahead of time. Middle school students (7th & 8th grades) will meet together in the Youth Barn and high school students (9th-12th grades) will meet in groups in classrooms in the main building. Student Small Groups will be followed by the option of Ultimate Frisbee or a game in the barn, 7:00-7:45 p.m.

FYR (pronounced “fire”): Our fall youth retreat is fast approaching on October 6-8. Our theme is: Life Apps – The app store isn’t the only place you can find apps. This weekend we will challenge students to live outside of their phone and get plugged into the Bible. We will explore five life apps from the Bible including: forgiveness, confession, rest, trust, and encouragement. Each retreat session will include worship, biblical instruction, interactive games and illustrations, and breakout groups led by college students and adults. Camp will be located in the foothills of the Appalachians at Camp Lee in Anniston, AL. Activities will include: group games, organized activities, rock climbing, zip lining and more! Cost for the retreat is $125 per student and covers transportation, food, lodging and program. Promise to pay deposits of $50 are due along with registration forms — DUE NOW!
