**ONE SERVICE on Sunday, December 28! Please note that we will only have one service at 10:30 AM on the Sunday between Christmas and New Year’s holidays. There will be no Sunday Connection Classes but please join us at 10:00 AM for coffee and breakfast.
Meet our pastor
Dr. Jerry Akin
Jerry is a native of Columbus, Georgia. Hearing and learning scripture at a young age played a key role in his spiritual formation, so he has a passion for guiding and equipping families to grow in their faith.
He also believes that the local church should be an outpost of God’s Kingdom, and he considers it a great privilege to witness that Kingdom of love and grace as it breaks into this world through the people and ministries of Pierce Chapel.
Jerry is a graduate of the University of Alabama and Candler School of Theology, and Duke University, where he received his Doctorate of Ministry degree. . He enjoys spending time with his wife, Clare, and their children, Liam and Hannah Clare. He also enjoys running, writing stories and devotionals, and spending time in the outdoors.

Youth Christmas Party
The Youth are having their Christmas Party on Sunday, December 21 at 5:00 till 8:30 pm in the Youth Barn. There will be a white elephant gift exchange, so bring a $10- $20 gift. Come and join in on this fun evening as we gather and fellowship!
